NÜRBURGRING / NÜRBURG

Not only Nürburgring is it a destination coveted by sports fans but also by families.

Nürburgring is a car racing complex located around Nürburg village, in Germany, passing through other towns of the Eifel region. At the beginning it was about 28 km in length, this kept on being until 1982.

In 1984, a modern "Grand Prix" race track was built. It is located at about 70 km from Cologne and 120 km from Frankfurt. The old track was nicknamed the green hell by Jackie Stewart and widely known as the most difficult racetrack in the world.

Nowadays the Nürburgring is the longest motor racing circuit in the world. It is also used for motorcycle, truck, vintage car and DTM races, as well as by some important German car brands.

In the last few years, it has become a leisure centre with roller coaster and shopping centres.
